DOOR TO DOOR SALES PEOPLE FOR NONPROFIT FARM :
Our local community is extremely supportive of nonprofit farms and unlike most sales jobs this is one where people are often happy to participate.
All net profits go to the non-profit to create programs which help the next generation of young farmers and preserves small farms.
This is your chance to make an income while also making a difference! We are looking for an experienced salesperson and sales manager capable to lead and take charge of the entire sales and marketing for:
(1) Sales for the Farm CSA (community supported agriculture) which is basically pre-selling our seasonal produce boxes to the public through marketing, door to door sales, corporation employee partnerships, etc.
(2) Sales of Various Farm Programs, Summer Camps and Cooperatives.
3) Sales of Tickets to Fundraising Events COMPENSATION:
The first two weeks are commission based to ensure the applicant has the ability to achieve door to door sales goals.
After the two week trial period the sales person has their choice to remain on commission or be paid an hourly rate of $25 plus sales bonuses.
If Sales person meets the sales quotes the average income is $6,000-8,000 month which is entirely dependent on the sales person's work, hours and ability.
SALES PERSON RESPOINSIBILTIES INCLUDE:
Meeting Sales Quotas Conducting Sales by creating leads, cold calling, door to door sales, and outreach.
Creating Partnerships with the Local Community, Families, Individuals and Businesses.
Marketing, Social Media and Website / Flyer Distribution Maintaining Client Relationships Other responsibilities will include:
Meet or exceed assigned sales quota Develop an project sales plan, determining sales and activity goals required for attainment of assigned quota.
Generate sales to new and current clients while insuring optimum client satisfaction.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
Must be fearless (but polite and respectful) in the ability to talk to potential customers and ask for a sale.
(while also respecting a no, we want this to be a good experience for everyone).
Must be a self-starter and must able to work independently and get things done without supervision.
Demonstrated successful sales record by consistently achieving or exceeding assigned sales quotas.
Outstanding sales skills, Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication is essential.
Proven customer service and relationship building skills.
Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) Organized, with effective time management skills Ability to work independently and with a team General business acumen Mature and self-confident Capacity to work under pressure Job Type:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
