Position Summary Information Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy (www.

edu) is one of five health science schools (Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry, Public Health, Medicine) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is one of the oldest health science academic programs at Chapel Hill.

Position Summary This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy.
UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
Technology Support Technician will provide computer support to the various constituents of the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy including faculty, staff, and students supporting the administrative, academic, and research operations of the School.
It is located on the UNC - Chapel Hill campus.
This position works directly with members of the Information and Educational Technology Department, primarily the department's System Administrator.
The position has responsibility for installing and maintaining the Eshelman School of Pharmacy's educational, administrative, and research information computing environments.
They will work closely with the UNC campus Information Technology Services Department to integrate school assets with the University infrastructure ensuring security policies are followed.
Duties also include desktop support, computing purchasing and inventory, server management, system administration, user management, application and hardware advising, and user training.
This position will also serve as Tier 1 support of the School's educational and meeting spaces.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Graduation from high school and one year in the field of technology related to the position's role.
- Computer coursework may be substituted year-for- year for the required experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Journey level requires an additional six months experience Advanced level requires an additional one year of experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Strong customer service skills Highly organized Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills including Teams and OneDrive Basic software support experience Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Previous Information Technology Service Management system experience (ServiceNow) Advanced software support experience Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills including Teams and OneDrive AV support and troubleshooting experience Experience with web conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, BlueJeans, Teams) IT support experience in a hybrid environment (Mac/Windows) Required Licenses/Certifications Special Physical/Mental Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds at waist height with or without an accommodation Ability to occasionally climb ladders with or without an accommodation Campus Security Authority Responsibilities Not Applicable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
