Summary:
Due to growth, HonorBridge is recruiting a Vice President of Organ Operations.
The Vice President of Organ Operations has the primary responsibility for all activities relating to organ recovery, donor management and the management of organ referrals.
This role will include personnel management; assuring appropriate levels of staffing; administrative support for operational issues; oversight of quality assurance activities and assigned departmental projects; and assisting with departmental planning.
The ideal candidate is passionate about our Mission has 4 plus years' experience in an IDC setting, has eperience leading and supervising other Departmental managers.
4 plus years' experience in organ/and or tissue donation strongly preferred.
This position is a hybrid remote working opportunity that requires an individual to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the Chapel Hill, NC office and will require up to 25% travel within the North Carolina Area.

Passion - Live our passion for healing lives Provides oversight to the Medical Director, Manager of Organ Services, the Manager of Recovery Services, the Manager of Donor Care Unit, and the Manager of Approach and Referral Optimization.
Directs the Manager of Organ Services to ensure adequate staffing and efficient management of the Organ Services Department 24 hours each day, 365 days each year.
Provides management for any personnel issues, consulting with the Chief Operating Officer as needed.
Interviewing, hiring, and disciplinary actions are responsibilities of this position.
Directs the Manager of Approach and Referral Optimization to maximize each referral and donation opportunity.
Directs the Manager of Recovery Services to manage preservation functions.
Coordinates with the Medical Director to provide clinical oversight, clinical policy development, and development of physician-to-physician rapport.
Directs the Manager of Donor Care Unit to provide complete and comprehensive pre-recovery care for organ donors transferred to the HonorBridge Donor Care Unit.
Maintains departmental procedures.
Oversees primary management activities of the daily organ donation operations and recovery to maximize the number of organs and tissues recovered and transplanted.
Uses discretion to create or modify departmental procedures with the appropriate consultation of the Chief Operating Officer, Medical Director, or other pertinent management resources.
Assures compliance with local, state and federal regulations, and professional standards related to organ donation.
Oversees administrative call for the Organ Services staff Apprises the Chief Operating Officer of administrative and operational issues Responsible for the HonorBridge Way of managing referrals and providing donor management of authorized cases to ensure maximizing of outcomes in support of donation and transplantation.
Works in close collaboration and partnership with the Director of Partner Engagement to support the Honorbridge way.
Responsible for the development of Organ Services and Recovery Services staff.
Plans and holds staff meetings Reports new information and procedures to staff Plans educational opportunities for staff Assists in staff development Insures the completion of regular staff on-sites Maintains organ donation and recovery quality assurance efforts.
Researches written and audio case records upon hospital's request Oversight and follow-up of daily case and data entry audits Oversight of relevant OPTN Policies and Procedures, and all other governmental agencies relating to organ donation Participates in strategic vision planning and goal setting.
Participates on HonorBridge Executive Leadership Team.
What we are looking for:
4 plus years of experience in an ICU setting required.
4 plus years of experience with organ and tissue donation strongly preferred Prior management experience managing department managers and supervisors required Physician's Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Nurse preferred.
CPTC preferred.
Proven experience in clinical research Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work under stress while performing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong knowledge of critical care OPTN organ allocation policies, organ procurement principles and organ placement procedures.
Experience participating in departmental planning.
Professional demeanor to effectively represent HonorBridge in both internal and external situations.
Proven self-directed, motivated contributor with a strong initiative and ability to problem-solve effectively and efficiently.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
