Our business is thriving, and we are so excited to continue to elevate all we do and who we hire! Overview of Role In this role, you would serve as the voice of Humane Homes and assist in the administrative functions of the company.
You get to educate fearful homeowners about their wild neighbors and offer resolutions that address their specific needs.
You'll learn about things like home anatomy, North Carolina wildlife, and be on a small business team of creative thinkers and problem solvers who are always working to improve processes.
This position is part time at 24 hours per week to begin.
Option to grow to full time within 3 months.
The part time hours are 9am-3pm Monday through Friday.
It includes in-person training then becomes primarily remote with weekly in-person work in Chapel Hill.
$16-$20 per hour depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities Respond to all incoming inquiries received by call, text, and email Explain Humane Homes' services to prospective clients and educate them about wildlife! Input information into client database Schedule and reschedule assessments and send reminders Manage the sequence and logistics of scheduling including geographic and time constraints Manage all incoming payments Liaise with bookkeeper Call clients and prospective clients to ask for feedback and to thank them for their business Requirements Compassion, empathy, and understanding for client experience and the ability to diffuse anxiety around wildlife issues Professionalism, courtesy, and ability to establish authentic rapport with clients Ability to work from home with strong internet and phone connection Excellent at working independently, consistent followthrough Excellent verbal and digital communication skills Thorough understanding of our services Passion for and pride in all things relating to Humane Homes' mission and vision Strong attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills and habits Ability to assess time requirements and speak up when conflicts arise Cooperative attitude and desire to contribute ideas for internal collaboration Energy, drive, enthusiasm, and positivity What We Offer Rapid merit-based raises PTO which starts the day you begin Bonuses and other incentives A lot of freedom and independence A well-defined training program Company apparel Culture Humane Homes strives to be different, because we really care about our people here.
