Dining Services - FT Dietary Assistant 6:
30am-3:
00pm E/O Weekend (Skilled Nursing Facility) Stocks, cleans and checks snack pantry; ensures all snacks are within expiration date and well organized, etc.
Logs all cleaning and organization in the logbook.
Maintains sanitation in dining services departments; reports findings to Dietary Supervisor (HC) or Nutritional Care Manager as needed.
Implements set up and clean-up of dining areas for meals and/or special functions; ensures cleanliness and proper arrangement of tables and chairs.
Serves meals to residents in the Health Center Dining Room or resident room and assists residents with additional food needs when appropriate.
Takes additional order and submits with the kitchen staff for fulfillment.
Ensures all assigned tasks are completed and comply with all state and federal health regulations.
Notifies Dietary Supervisor (HC) of linen shortages and ensures storage room for linens is appropriately maintained with supply in a neat and organized manner.
Completes all cleaning and sanitation of tables, place settings, silverware, floors and furniture according to the cleaning checklist.
Signs off on all cleaning performed.
Assists with record keeping reports (i.
e.
meal tallies, tray temperature reports, test trays, refrigerator temperature reports, etc.
) on a daily basis.
Adheres to all state and federal health regulations; complies with all policies and procedures of Dining services Maintains clean, neat and organized work area in Health Center kitchen; ensures tray line area is sanitized.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), six (6) months to one (1) year dietary experience in service and nutrition; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service skills and knowledge on state and federal regulations.
Ability to work every other weekend.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
