Averett Family Law Averett Family Law Chapel Hill, NC Chapel Hill, NC Part-time Part-time $15 - $18 an hour $15 - $18 an hour Averett Family Law is looking to hire a part-time office assistant/receptionist with working hours from 1 pm to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
We are a family law and estate planning firm based in Chapel Hill, NC, with three attorneys, three paralegals and an office manager.
Our office's award-winning attorneys and staff seek to empower clients with a caring, efficient, and fierce approach.
Responsibilities Answering and routing phones.
Greeting clients.
Create intake for screenings and perform conflict checks.
Arrange personal appointments for firm owner.
Run errands for firm owner and the firm.
Update website, social media.
Manage the firm calendar:
coordinating appointments (both personal and client based), tracking court dates, and creating reminders.
Data entry into Clio legal software.
Updating policy and procedure manual.
Filing paperwork at the Orange, Durham, and Chatham Clerk's Offices.
Administrative office work such as filing, copying, mail, and taking notes.
Skills High school degree; Associate's degree preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Communication skills.
1 years' experience as a receptionist.
1 years' experience as an office assistant.
Customer service skills.
Writing skills.
Calendaring.
Familiarity with social media.
Must possess a valid NC driver's license.
Must have a working vehicle.
