JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists Dept.
Managers with interviewing, hiring and onboarding Associates Assists Dept.
Managers with the creation of employeeschedules in timely manner Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift Inspects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness and to verify brand standards are being met.
Coach, counsel, and provide corrective action to associates on performance not meeting expectations and discrepancies found in rooms Notifies proper personnel of maintenance repairs necessaryin rooms or on property Assists Dept.
Managers with interviews, hiring, developing, and disciplining direct employees Perform property walk and report identified deficiencies Participates in scheduling employees to business demands and tracking employee time and attendance Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met Manages Housekeeping and Front Office inventory, ensuring that team has dedicated tools, supplies, and resources to complete assigned tasks and work Monitors and ensures VIParrivals are executed to highest standard Keeps track of rooms to ensure accurate status and readiness forcheck-in Works nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma/GED.
Post high school education preferred Minimum of 2 years in housekeeping leadership experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Basic math skills HMS and/or experience using a property management system (PMS) Microsoft Office experience Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Strong leadership skills Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members Excellent time management skills About Graduate Hotels Graduate Hotels is a hand-crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored towns across the country.
