To support the continued success and growth of Kalos, we are searching for our next Reservations Manager to join a small, high-quality team of 15 that together delivery exceptional customer trips to 1500 guests every year.
This role has key accountabilities, but the strong customer and service culture can require everyone on the team to turn their hand to whatever is needed to ensure the trips are delivered successfully.
The Reservations Manager primarily interfaces with high-net-worth clients (a large majority of whom are returning to travel again) who inquire about and/or have reserved space on our golf luxury cruises and private jet tours.
The Reservation Manager responds to customer inquiries about tour package details and availability and using their knowledge of the trips and exceptional customer facing skills, they work with guests to identify and book them onto the perfect trip.
Building strong relationships, they then manage all ongoing communications with guests relating to their trip - some routine and some bespoke depending on the needs of the guest.
The Reservations Manager also will have the opportunity to work with Tour Directors and Tour Planners to understand how the fabulous tours are created and executed, and to give them confidence to guide clients requiring detailed information about trips.
What we want from you:
Exceptional customer facing skills - excellent communicator, written and verbal; demonstrated ability to work across various teams and problem solve, particularly when time is short, and guests require immediate assistance.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, and a proven ability to efficiently balance multiple overlapping trips and efficiently lead conflicting priorities.
Detail orientated self-starter - managing your workload and keeping to deadlines.
Thrives in a team environment where building strong working relationships is critical to getting things done.
Knowledge of the travel industry and/or extensive personal travel experience Ability to demonstrate and understand digital platforms, like FileMaker, is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This is an onsite role Monday - Friday in our Chapel Hill, NC office location.
This role requires occasional international travel.
Compensation &
Benefits:
Attractive compensation plan ranging between 80-90k; with an opportunity to earn an annual 5-10% bonus, plus a complete benefits package for the employee, including company retirement contributions! #LI-WF1 #LI-ONSITE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
