Our practice is looking for Full Time Front Desk Receptionists who can provide a wonderful patient experience from the phone to the door.

Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner, always delivering excellent customer support Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate team members Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Perform basic administrative tasks such as scanning, and data entry Verify all demographic and insurance information in patient registration of the practice management system at the time of charge entry to ensure accuracy Collect co-pay and deductibles.
Post all payments for services into the practice management system including co-payments, insurance payments, and patient payments with an emphasis on accuracy to ensure maximum patient satisfaction and profitability.
All payment batches must be balanced.
Collect payments at check-out for non-covered services or skin care products Schedule follow-up appointments as noted by the medical team Provide excellent and empathetic customer service both on the telephone and in the office for all patients and authorized representatives regarding patient accounts Answer telephones promptly Ability to work fast and accurately to ensure timely flow of patients Address patient messages in conjunction with the medical team specifically patients' requests as sent through the patient portal
Qualifications:
Previous (at least 1 year) experience as a medical/dental receptionist or in a similar role (dermatology / plastic surgery practice preferred) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Knowledge of dermatologic and cosmetic procedures is a plus High School Diploma required Experience with Nextech EMR a plus! Working knowledge and experience of checking/understanding Health Insurances including Medicare and commercial insurances Understand deductibles, copay, co-insurance and Out of Pocket Maximum to determine what the patient will need to pay at the time of service Experience with obtaining pre-authorizations for injections, procedures and medications from all medical insurances Benefits of Joining Trillium Clinic:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
