## Description
RN needed for a 24- bed inpatient Surgical Oncology / Endocrine/ ENT Surgery Unit.
This unit cares for ENT and oncology patients including management of breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, endocrine cancer, melanoma and sarcoma. Blood transfusions, antibiotic therapy, wound care and end of life care are part of we do every day . We will provide you with the knowledge and training to provide quality surgical oncology and ENT care to these groups of patients.Our goal is to ensure that excellent care is provided to both the patient and family throughout hospitalization while promoting a relaxing environment.
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
This position is 36 hours/week rotating days and nights working 12 hour shifts (7am-7:20pm and 7pm-7:30am). This position qualifies for an extensive benefit package including PTO hours accrued based on the number of hours hired.

## Qualifications
Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing (RN) experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing; requires current Healthcare Provider BLS / CPR (AHA preferred) certification. Bachelor''s Degree in Nursing preferred. Must be enrolled in an accredited program within fours of employment, if hired after January 6, 2014 and obtain a baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing or a Master''s degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
