Nutrition and Food Services - Retail Services
Children's Hospital - Terrace Cafe
Full-Time, 40 Hours - 1st and 2nd shift. Includes every other w eekend and holidays.
The position has significant direct contact with the public including hospital employees, medical staff, university students and the general public such as visitors, friends and family of patients.
Records sales at point of service, completing transactions by receipt of cash or approved meal tickets and by check from approved clients.
Complies with UNCHCS policies and procedures for cash handling and sanitation.
Resolves concerns and complaints from customers or refers to supervisor as appropriate.
Provides Daily, Weekly or Monthly cash register reports to the department as required through scheduling.
Compiles and maintains the financial documents necessary for the audit of sales receipts in a timely manner.
Assists in the maintenance of vendor products through merchandising efforts and assists in the maintenance of customer support activities in the dining areas.
## Qualifications
Requires High School diploma or GED, or completion of the eighth grade and two years of experience as a cashier, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
