Description of Work
Horace Williams Airport is seeking a Ramp Assistant to provide knowledge, training and backup coverage to the Airport Manager. The selected candidate should have experience working at airports or has been a Licensed Pilot (including retirees). Job duties to fuel aircraft as well as operate equipment for mowing, weed eating, leaf and debris blowing, moving aircraft, and snow removal. This position may be asked to open the building for daily operations, to close the building after hours, and to work weekends occasionally.
Special Physical and Mental Requirements
This position involves walking; climbing steps and ladders; riding equipment for 2 hours at a time; and moving 70 pounds and ability to pull fuel hose from fuel cabinet to the aircraft.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
